Well it's official...I HAVE A NEW JOB!
"AHH WHAT?!" Yeah, that's what I said too.
Now before you start freaking out and assume I'm walking away from photography and the business I've worked on for years...don't worry, I'm not going anywhere. My photo business is something I'm 100% committed to seeing through for the long haul and I'll be spending most of my time working to continue building that business.
But sometimes an opportunity presents itself that fits so perfectly with where you're at and what you want to do that you simply can't say no...
And that's where I'm at right now.
I'm beyond excited to announce that I've accepted and started a new position as the Creative Director for both campuses of Harvest Bible Chapel Spring Lake *happy dance*!
DOING WHAT I LOVE...AT A PLACE I ADORE.
Harvest has been my home church for the past few years now and it's been nothing short of an absolute privilege to attend and serve there. So when they approached me and asked if I'd be willing to join the staff as the Creative Director to provide vision and aesthetic cohesiveness to their Internet/social media presence, video and photo creations, and other creative media projects, I jumped at the opportunity.
"BUT YOU'RE ALREADY SO BUSY JOSH..."
Yeah, I know :) That's why I've officially hired on my good friend Rachel to be my Creative Coordinator. She'll help manage the logistics of the business in the background so I can focus on the things only I can do like photographing sessions, editing photos, meeting and communicating with clients, and maintaining the major visual and aesthetic projects I have to keep up with (like the website, my social media, etc)...
...AND I'LL SPEND MY REMAINING TIME AS THE CREATIVE DIRECTOR FOR HBCSL!
I'm incredibly excited to enter this new season of life and pursue a whole new array of creative endeavors over the next weeks and months. Will it be busy? Definitely. But I absolutely love what I do and I'm thankful for new and exciting opportunities to use the gifts God's blessed me with to even greater capacities.
Excited to see what the future brings...
