IT'S OFFICIAL Y'ALL – I'M HOSTING ANOTHER WORKSHOP.
Actually, I'm hosting TWO workshops. More on that in a minute.
Let's backtrack first. This past spring I hosted my first workshop, and it went great! This initial workshop was geared primarily towards aspiring photographers who really wanted to learn the intricacies of their cameras – from iPhoneographers who wanted to learn more about the art of photography to DSLR owners who wanted to move from automatic to manual mode and understand how their cameras/lenses/settings actually affected the final result. We had a great day learning more about photography and diving deeper into the "why" behind the "what" of actually pressing a shutter button...
...AND I'M TEACHING IT AGAIN THIS FALL!
I received a lot of inquires from photographers who couldn't make it to the first workshop asking if I could re-host the workshop so they would be able to attend – so I'm hosting it again on October 28th from 9am to 1pm. YAY!
BUT IT DOESN'T STOP THERE...
I also realize that there are some photographers who already know the information I'll be teaching in the first workshop...so I'm also hosting a SECOND WORKSHOP directly after the first one! This second workshop will be geared towards photographers who have taken the first workshop (or simply already know the intricacies of their cameras) and want to dive into the world of editing, aesthetic consistency, and deeper explanations of composition, lighting, and color.
We'll talk about how to photograph intentionally so that when you import your images you don't have to fight against the lighting and color to achieve the edit style you want, we'll cover Adobe Lightroom and basic toning and color correcting, and then we'll wrap up the day by talking about developing a consistent aesthetic with your imagery and how to build your social media/websites/portfolios to build a style that is uniquely yours.
It's going to be a great day!! And here's the cool part...
THERE'S AN EARLYBIRD DISCOUNT FOR ANYONE WHO REGISTERS BY AUGUST 31st!!
If you're interested in attending either of the two workshops (or maybe BOTH!!), click the link below to learn more information about what exactly I'll be teaching and how the day will play out.
I hope to see you there on October 28th – and feel free to get in touch with me directly if you have any questions!!
